Giving your child a home away from home

Hello and welcome to Lynette's Little Ones website.

 My name is Lynette Tennant and I became a registered childminder in July 2005. I am fully qualified and registered with the Care Inspectorate for children from birth to sixteen years. I am insured with the Scottish Childminding Association and have the appropriate public liability cover.

I live with my husband, Paul and twins Ben and Abby, who are 10 years old. Both my husband and I had full disclosures of Scotland carried out. I decided to go into childminding, firstly because I love being around children and secondly because I wanted to be a stay at home mum. Childminding has given me that opportunity and I have never looked back!

I strive for a professional home based childcare service in which your child can learn, play, build their confidence, develop their assertiveness and learn positive and acceptable codes of behaviour. I want their time here to be full of happiness, laughter and enjoyable learning. By working in partnership with parents you can trust that I will be committed to providing you with a reliable service and will always have your child's best interest at heart. I will keep you informed on all aspects of my service and your child's progress via daily diaries, quarterly newsletters, photos, email and texts. Regular questionnaires are also given to both children and parents to obtain feedback and help my service progress.
